The Circle Square Salary Survey is an overview of information gathered from candidates and clients within the Accountancy sector. The turbulent market of 2008 is clearly reflected in the expectations of both our candidates and clients. This year, the bonus amounts have been a key debating point as they vary widely from firm to firm and person to person. Due to the upheaval of the bonus structure in 2008/9 it is difficult to gauge the exact amount that candidates have received over the 2009/2010 period. Our report also recognises that several businesses have not paid any bonus for 2009.
