As the Solstice and belated April showers usher us into a hazy summer full of weekends at the park, 99 flakes and swatting wasps away whilst dinning al fresco, you could be excused for thinking that the world of the recruiter is instantly turned into a happy place.
Traditionally this is simply not the case, having seen the seasons change far too many times in a difficult market, history dictates the start of the panic. Historically both job and candidate pipeline has suffered as our dream clients and candidates put aside their ambitions to make a move to recruit or be snapped up in favour of browsing Ceefax for the latest deals to Greece (£130 flights, all inc. 10 nights if you were curious).
Something feels different this time however. After two record breaking months here at CircleSquare Towers, several jobs being called in on the part qualified desk this week, some deals on the Corporate Finance team (typing this whilst cheering for another) our temp team doing booming trade and two new additions to our brood you can see why we feeling optimistic.Just a quick note to tell all our candidates that we are feeling positive and so should you.
