This business provides a bespoke service to HNW and UHNW individuals in the real estate investment space. Their model is quite unique and their track record extremely impressive. This role will be to primarily source investment opportunities on behalf of clients and also the businesses for potential co-invest projects. The business model works extremely well, as not only do they source good quality investments but they also project manage the development of them and then manage them from a rental perspective on behalf of the clients – the full cycle with strong returns for all those involved.
Responsibilities include:
- Source new core, value add and development investment opportunities in London and the South East. Asset classes will include residential and commercial to residential opportunities.
- Establish relationships with prominent owners, developers, agents, and potential operating partners to identify investment opportunities.
- Ensure proper execution throughout the life-cycle of transactions including sourcing acquisitions, negotiating deal terms, conducting due diligence activity and market analysis for investment review.
- Oversee all aspects of the due diligence and closing process.
- Assist in developing the firm's investment strategy and market profile for the UK.
You will also have outstanding interpersonal skills with a strong analytical and quantitative approach and must have impressive presentation skills and be able to articulate both orally and in writing.
Requirements
- Real estate investment experience, with at least three to five years of acquisition experience attained at an estate agent, real estate developer, real estate fund, an institutional investment manager, brokerage firm or large owner / operator.
- Demonstrated track record of sourcing and closing transactions.
- The individual must currently be in the market and possess an impressive knowledge of real estate values and market dynamics influencing values across all sectors.
- Exposure to real estate development and understanding of joint venture structures is a plus.
- Above all you must have an existing network and be able to develop a network outside of this.
