Business Development Manager - Internet / Prague

- Prague - £50000-£55000k + bonus + benefits

A leading CEE focused multi-national Media Company is looking for a Business Development Manager for their specific internet division.  This is an excellent opportunity working for a fast paced and highly dynamic organisation with an excellent business strategy and a commitment to optimising growth potential at all times.

This is a senior and influential position with clear visibility to senior management of the 'group'. The right candidate must currently reside in Prague.

Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development and the Head of Internet Division, the Business Development Manager for the Group Internet Division will coordinate, execute and implement the strategic and business development plan for the Internet Division of the group .

Key responsibilities include:  

Coordinate and project manage the execution of Internet acquisition target/business development initiatives including:

1. developing the business plan/valuation model  
2. drafting Board paper on the transaction to obtain  Management and  Board approval
3. developing and project managing implementation plans Track and report on progress of new product or services launches, acquired acquisition target and business development initiatives against original business plan/budget
4. Respond to ad hoc queries and requests from the Vice President of Business Development of the group and the Head of Internet Division of the group.  

Key relationships include:  

1. Vice President of Business Development
2. Head of Internet Division
3. Internet Business Unit Directors of each  territory Business Development team    

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:  

1. A high level of knowledge of and skills in financial modelling and business evaluation acquired through training and/or experience in a relevant discipline   
2. Product/service strategy creation coordination of financial business case (5 Year plan incl. investment valuation) for new products/services
3. Proven project management and implementation skills
4. Previous experience in Internet business/industry is highly desirable
5. MBA qualified useful
6. An innovative approach in dealing with and resolving issues and problems
7. Reliable and dedicated, with a positive approach and an exemplary level of commitment to completing the task
8. Diplomacy skills including maturity and calmness in dealing with strong personalities, competing priorities and senior personnel including senior management and advisors
9. Able to liaise and interact well both within a team and with more senior employees
10. Ability to work autonomously and in an unstructured environment with minimal or no supervision and with no support from junior staff ie. the role will have no direct junior staff support
11. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and multi-task
12. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
