Career Progression

Generally two to three years in this role before promotion to a VP / Assistant Director / Associate Director. Once you’ve have made it to that level, you will progress to run a larger fund or look after a portfolio of Fund/Investment Managers under you. However with carry paying out in the millions with 5-7 year lifecycle on the funds, we see more people staying at this level for long periods as there is normally a fundraising period which runs half way through the investment life cycle, so once all initial cash is vested, there will be more coming and with rolling carry it becomes difficult to leave due to the amount of money you have to leave on the table.. Unless you set up your own fund!

Our PE Division recruit for Financial Roles including:

Private Equity Analysts / Investment Executives / Private Equity Associates / Investment Managers / Fund Managers / Investment Directors / Principals
