Project Accountant

- Permanent - London - £35-£40k + bonus + benefits

My client are an exceptional and growing international financial services business with offices in the US and the UK that due to organic growth and exceptional company performance they require a superb newly qualified or finalist management/ project accountant that is dynamic, highly commercial and ready to move into a highly challenging, busy and rewarding operation. As the Project Accountant you will report directly to the chief accountant and manage at least one member of staff.

We are seeking someone with a lot of ambition, the ability to react to changing situations and the ability and ambition to succeed. Performance is rewarded highly with exceptional bonus packages (50% ) but more notably with the level of responsibility and growth opportunities you are given.

Responsibilities

- Preparation of management accounts for 2 companies
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Variance analysis, KPI analysis & Planning analysis
- Variety of ad-hoc projects on a continuous basis along side the chief accountant
- Manage at least one member of staff

Experience

- ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA newly qualified
- Minimum 2;1 degree
- Experience of preparing and reporting on Management accounts is essential
- Budgeting and forecasting, variance & commercial analysis
- Experience of a high growth environment ideal
- Exceptional commercial acumen and attitude
- Strong communication skills
