Accounts Assistant, sage and access

My client is a luxury brand based in Piccadilly who is now looking for a new addition for their team. You will have experience in Sage and Access and be interested in growing into a role where you will become the right hand person of the FD.

Day to day duties include...
Entering financial transactions using SAGE Line 50 and Access software and reviewing accounts to ensure that the entries are accurate
-Allocating payments received to accounts
-Receiving, authorising, investigating and raising accounts invoices
-Reconciling the bank and cash accounts, supplier ledger and purchase ledger
-With the assistance and under instruction of senior assist with the budget preparation and management accounts admin including prepayments, accruals, fixed assets depreciation, WIP
-Assisting with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns
-Processing of the Payroll on a weekly and monthly basis
-Preparing sales and budget reports on an Ad hoc basis.
- Strong skills in Excel to Pivot table level
-Strong communication skills and a customer service approach when deal with internal and external business partners and customers.
Skills in Sage and Access desirable.
