Qualified FP&A Specialist in FTSE telecoms

My client is a unique business in terms of its product, global reach and how it treats their staff. Due to internal mobility in their transparent team structure a role has now become available for a newly qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) or Euro MBA student to work in a high profile role.

The purpose of this role will be to provide modelling and other support to the Manager in M&A or other business development opportunities whilst maintaining and running scenarios in the Group`s long-range financial plan model. This is a role where you have have influence and exposure to the real strategy and drivers of the business as an expanding whole.

To be able to perform in this role you must be competent and have demonstrable experience in Business development support and Financial Planning as this is a role where you will be encouraged to come up with ideas and run with them.

Key criteria and skills required will include.

-A clear understanding of both accounting, and of the commercial drivers underlying financial statements.
-Be a recently ACA (or equivalent) qualified accountant with transaction/due diligence experience or possibly an MBA
-Knowledge of key risks involved in corporate acquisitions and other business development projects
