Description

We are working with one of the world's leading Real Estate private equity funds to hire an Analyst or Associate for their European Asset Management team in London.

The firm is a global leader in Real Estate private equity and has a broad and flexible pan-European investment mandate. They investment opportunistically across the capital structure including direct assets and portfolios, corporate / operating platform deals and Real Estate backed non-performing loan / distressed debt portfolios across a wide range of Real Estate asset types and European geographies.

As part of the ongoing growth of the business, the firm is seeking to hire an entrepreneurial, analytical, commercial and outgoing individual to the Asset Management team to help drive the pan European real estate equity strategy. The role will work to develop and execute the business plans for the firm's real estate investments across Europe. This will include working with the wider team, as well as operating partners and taking a leading role in strategic asset management, (re)development and improvement strategies for individual assets, as well as the active management of portfolios and corporate transactions, including significant disposal transactions.

The firm is very well capitalised, has a great culture and gives their juniors a good deal of responsibility and autonomy, working in a small team with a flat structure.

Profile:

  • Strong financial and analytic skills

  • Results focused with exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Outstanding initiative and the drive, energy and proactiveness to be an effective self-starter
  • Team-oriented and collaborative with strong integrity as well as a high degree of professionalism Ability to actively contribute to a positive culture & work with others
  • Bachelor's degree or higher with strong results from a top tier university or college
  • Fluency in at least one other European language would be preferred (but not essential)

Real Estate Specific Experience:

  • 1 to 5 years relevant Real Estate experience with a real estate private equity investor, investment manager, property company or investment bank. Previous asset management experience is helpful but not essential
  • A strong understanding of the European real estate market across sectors and ideally across geographies
  • Helpful if some experience working with different asset classes and development projects
  • Helpful if some experience working with investments in capital and tenant improvements, and underwriting and evaluating commercial real estate asset and portfolio level dispositions
