Description

Our client is one of the leading Private Equity Placement firms, with its areas of business being primarily fund-raising for mid and large cap funds but also secondaries and directs.

The team is very busy and our now looking to recruit a Senior Associate to their project management team. This is a truly exceptional business to work for, you will be working within a leading team and have opportunities to train and learn in other areas of the business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Think strategically to ensure fundraise is successful and achieved quickly.
  • Manage a number of key clients and help them achieve their fundraising objectives.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the client management function and that the work delivered is professional and is of high quality.
  • Be an expert in fund placement and the main escalation point to handle issues/ problems.
  • Cover a number of origination targets.
  • Represent to all stakeholders e.g. regulators, competitors, internal and external clients; meetings and committees.
  • Train and mentor junior team members.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 8-10 Years' Financial services experience with strong understanding of PE market.
  • Strong written and communication skills in English
  • 2:1 Minimum Degree from a recognised University
  • Strong time management and excellent project management skills
  • Financial analysis skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in a European Language would be a bonus (Not Essential)
