- Description
Our client is one of the top Real Estate Investment firms with a global presence, they are now looking to add an Associate to their Real Estate Investment Banking team. This is a great opportunity to work on some of the most high profile and interesting deals within the Real Estate Sector.
The role:
- Review client service engagements which would include advising clients on buy and sell-side transactions
- Lead analysis and due diligence on potential deals including researching sector and competition, reviewing comprehensive financial information, inputting into the review of financial models and projections, reviewing asset level data and assisting in transactional documentation
- Project manage transactions from inception to execution, liaising with other advisers and cross-border teams.
- Review and input into key transactional documentation and third-party reports.
- Demonstrate knowledge of property market (e.g. Current activity, key players, trends) and different client types, including their commercial drivers and needs.
- Proactively manage all client follow up and information requests.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years' experience corporate finance from any sector focus (although real estate experience would be a strong bonus) will also look at Big 4ACA or CA candidates from Transaction Services, lead advisory, corporate finance teams.
- A strong academic background with bachelors or post-graduate degree preferably with a specialisation in real estate or finance.
- Strong Analytical skills and able to grasp complex investment scenarios
- Previous exposure to real estate businesses, assets, and vehicles preferred; otherwise, a demonstrated interest, ability and willingness to pursue a career within real estate.
- Transactional/project experience in corporate finance transactions.
