Our client is FCA Regulated, full scope AIFM, Private Equity Investment firm based in London, dedicated to Technology Sector and Digital Asset investments.
They are seeking a Compliance Officer with a strong background in Compliance, and experience working with the FCA, in asset management, and in Private Equity. You will be working in a small team, reporting directly to the CEO.
You will be leading the Compliance Department and day to day, you will be conducting audits and reviews of the firm's products, processes, policies, and procedures to identify scope for business, to determine the impact of regulatory developments and to verify compliance with local regulations.
They are primarily seeking a Compliance Officer, but are open to incorporating a GC aspect to this role, depending on your background and experience.
Candidate Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in Compliance, and experience working with the FCA, asset management, Private Equity.
- Minimum 8 years working experience in a Compliance role (ideally 10 years + experience)
- Strong Compliance skills and experience.
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced environment and work independently with deadlines requiring a quick turnaround.
- Must have strong intellectual curiosity, an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for digital assets and financial markets.
