Associate 1-2 - Tech M&A team leading investment bank

Our client is a leading independent mid-market investment bank operating globally. They provide advice on M&A, debt advisory, and equity capital markets transactions to corporations, private equity firms, and family-owned businesses.

They are currently seeking an Associate to join their technology investment banking team in the London office. In this role, you will work on a range of M&A transactions, including buy-side and sell-side mandates, take privates, minority stake sales, and carve-outs across the technology sector.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence for M&A transactions
• Prepare presentation materials including investment memoranda, management presentations, and pitch books
• Support the execution of transactions including syndicating lending facilities
• Interact directly with clients to build relationships and originate new business
• Manage transaction processes and coordinate internal and external parties

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of M&A or corporate finance experience at an investment bank, boutique or big 4 ideally within a TMT or Tech team.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong Academics
