- Circle square is currently working with a FTSE 100 listed Total Quality Assurance provider. They are looking for A high calibre, financially astute person to join the Investor Relations team, reporting directly to the Investor Relations Director.
As an associate, you will use your analytical and commercial acumen to help deliver high quality materials to both internal and external audiences.
Role description:
- Analysing company financial and operational information
- Monitoring sell-side analysts’ forecasts
- Analysing industry data, news, trends and developments and its impact on the company
- Preparing and maintaining materials to support the communication at the company
- Support the CEO and CFO with ad-hoc needs
- Carrying out investor targeting and supporting IR logistics to ensure the smooth running of events and investor roadshow
- Analysis and development of external sustainability (ESG) reporting
- Supporting IR logistics to ensure the smooth running of events and engagements
- Work within the wider Corporate Communications team to ensure good investor news flow and communications alignment
- Provide internal business intelligence analytics
- Preparation of Executive and Board level presentation materials
Key requirements:
- 1-4yrs work experience since university
- Tier 1 university education with a minimum of a 2.1 in financial / numerical degree
- An A or A* in A-Level maths
- If a chartered qualified accountant – 1st time passes
- Highly analytical, motivated and a self-starter
- Solid commercial acumen
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator and able to build rapport with new contacts quickly and effectively
- Willing to travel occasionally and work flexibly in order to meet the demands of the tasks
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ambitious, with the ability to demonstrate a desire for continuous improvement and a willingness to study for a professional qualification
- English, fluent and strong written skills
