- Description
Based in either UK or Spain, primary responsibilities will include developing and executing on strategic plans for the fund's Spanish commercial real estate portfolio.
- Assist in setting strategic plans for the assets
- Evaluate capital improvements that will enhance the value of the portfolio
- Execute on identified initiatives to maximize operating performance and investor returns
-Working with the broader team, develop a framework with outside brokers around leasing strategies including evaluating individual tenant spaces in projects and negotiating lease transactions
- Work with property managers to develop, review, revise and approve property budgets and capital plans.
- Monitor and ensure property level debt compliance and determine if leverage level is appropriate
- Build and maintain relationships in commercial leasing broker community
- Contribute to the team's effort by accomplishing tasks and assisting with projects as needed
Education & Experience Required:
- 4-7+ years of commercial real estate experience, preferably in asset management
- The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial real estate within the European market with some specific experience in Spain
- Broad sector knowledge and experience
Skills Required:
- Strong analytical skills
- Fluent Spanish language skills
- Knowledgeable in the economic and demographic conditions in each market and market trends
- Ability to build stakeholder relationships and communicate with banks and investors
- Team oriented, approachable and strong networking and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and to make recommendations to senior management
