Description

Reporting to the Head of Real Estate UK, Europe and Asia, this individual will work with both internal and external teams to develop, implement and monitor strategic plans targeted at maximising asset performance.

Primary responsibilities will include developing and executing on strategic plans for the directly held real estate portfolio located in London and Paris, but with a focus on further direct acquisitions to be executed on an opportunistic and pan-European basis.

  • Set strategic asset management business plans for assets
  • Lead the management and strategy of assets covering all facets of asset management, lettings, rent reviews and renewals.
  • Analysis of Market Trends, Research and Revenue analysis and reporting
  • Evaluate and initiate / manage to completion capital improvements that will enhance the value of assets.
  • Execute on identified initiatives to maximise operating performance and portfolio returns
  • Drive the leasing of all assets.
  • Develop a framework with outside brokers around leasing strategies including evaluating individual tenant spaces in properties and negotiating lease transactions
  • Selection of the Property managers and working with them to develop, review, revise and approve property budgets and capital plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external service providers.
  • High Level (Board) presentations on the Business Plans and explanation of deviations from the plans.
  • Assist in the purchasing and sales of assets in conjunction with the origination and investment team.

Education & Experience Required

  • Ideally +5years of commercial real estate experience, gained with a property company or fund management business.
  • Degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance or Accounting is preferred (Ideally RICS Accredited)
  • The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial real estate, both office and retail and ideally have multi-jurisdictional exposure
  • Skills Required
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledgeable in the economic and demographic conditions in each market and market trends (as much is possible with a worldwide remit)
  • Commercially astute and business minded
  • Ability to build stakeholder relationships and communicate well with external parties
  • Experience in place making and creating imaginative and innovative working environments
  • Flexible, adaptable and team oriented approachable, able to work in a fast-moving environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with an approachable style, result-orientated and highly motivated to succeed.
