Lead Originator - Value Add, Leading US player

Our client is a serious player in the NY value add market, with $13 BN under management and a focus on buying high quality / Premium sites (they are looking for the same in London but will look across the capital structure) with an undervalued element/ Distressed space they have focused on the development and Transformation of property to realise value. Since starting in the 80's and 90's buying distressed assets they have now built a track record which is the envy of most Large funds. Exceptional rewards.

The Opportunity:

• Working directly with the CEO on a worldwide remit (Focus UK and Germany - Realistically London) to Originate investment opportunities (across the capital structure) and invest into assets/ Debt from 20-200Mn (in the US they own 2 out of the top 10 most expensive buildings in Manhattan so they have to ability to buy anything)
• Constantly looking at new markets and products to invest into NPL's, China, Turkey... everything is on the cards.
• Ability to find and close deals, they want to close deals and have money.
• Un- Paralleled exposure to the CEO with Assets under management of $13bn on investment. He is super enthusiastic and excited about what he does.
• Highly Entrepreneurial business, they will run deals fast and hard.
• Ability to invest across the capital structure 'whatever is going to be hot', no restrictions.
• Plenty of dry powder, no fund restrictions.

The role:

• Working with the CEO to find deals and open doors
• Using your network to identify the 'next big thing' and get in ahead of the rest.
• Helping pull together the deal, the plan etc

Your requirement:

• Solid Entrepreneurial spirit.
• Exceptional network, with ability to originate high end premium undervalued/ under managed assets.
• Strong personality, Can do attitude.
• Autonomous and able to take on responsibility.
• Ability to deal with deal makers across the world at a senior level.
• Ability to run fast and hard and bring the deals in.
• Background - Ideally a PE originator or a Broker (large deal experience).

This opportunity is better than ANY PE fund in London or the US for the right person, if you are working as a City Broker or at a PE fund where you are bringing in good deals, but the appetite isn't there this could be the opportunity. Not right for anyone who needs structure and a regular daily pattern.
