Our client is an Digital assets Venture Capital Investment firm based in London, dedicated to Fund of Fund Cornerstone investments in funds in blockchain-related technology, Web 3.0, and Metaverse. With Web 3.0 and Metaverse gaining further traction to become the new normal, the current fund of funds provides risk-managed exposure to this rapidly growing asset class through a diversified portfolio focused on early -stage investments in Web 3.0, Metaverse and NFT technology/companies.
They are now looking to add a Head of Investor Relations to their growing team.
The Opportunity:
As the Head of Investor Relations, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with the firms current and prospective investors and fundraising.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy that supports the business objectives and growth plans
- Fundraising to secure commitments from new and existing investors.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Identify and pursue new sources of capital, including international investors and strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate with the investment team to develop and present compelling investment opportunities and materials.
- Manage the fundraising process, including due diligence, negotiation, and closing of new commitments.
- Collaborate with senior management and contribute to the overall growth and development of the firm.
Candidate Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Investor Relations,Fundraising, private placement,or private banking from a top tier Private Equity firm, Placement Agent or Investment Bank.
- Proven track record of successfully raising funds from institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Strong network of contacts within the investment community.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
